Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy is issued in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, India. By placing an order on FlavoFBR, you agree to the terms stated below.

1. Nature of Products

FlavoFBR deals in premium, perishable food products, including homemade spices, Thekua, Gujiya, and other traditional edible items. Due to strict hygiene and food safety standards, general returns are heavily restricted.

2. Return Eligibility

Returns or replacements will only be accepted under the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Physical Damage: The product delivered is physically damaged or tampered with on arrival.

  • Expiry: The product delivered is past its shelf life or expired.

  • Incorrect Item: The product delivered does not match your ordered item.

To be eligible for a resolution:

  • The product must be completely unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

  • The customer must provide a valid Order ID / Invoice.

  • Mandatory Proof: Clear photographic or unboxing video evidence must be submitted. FlavoFBR reserves the right to verify the authenticity of the claim before approving any return or replacement.

3. Non-Returnable Cases

Returns or refunds will not be accepted in the following situations:

  • Opened, partially consumed, or fully consumed food products.

  • Return requests based purely on personal taste or flavor preferences.

  • Incorrect product selection made by the customer during checkout.

  • Minor packaging blemishes (like a dented outer box) that do not affect the internal product quality or safety.

4. Strict 48-Hour Timeline

⚠️ Important: Customers must notify us of any eligible issue within 48 hours of delivery. Requests must be sent via email or phone with the required photographic/video proof. Any request raised after this 48-hour window will be rejected.

5. Refund Process

Once your return request is verified and approved by our internal team:

  • Timeline: Refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days.

  • Payment Mode: The amount will be credited back to the original mode of payment. For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, the refund will be processed via bank transfer to an account provided by you.

  • Shipping Fees: Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases where the error is entirely attributable to FlavoFBR.

6. Cancellation Policy

  • By Customer: Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch. Once an order has been handed over to our courier partner, cancellations are strictly not permitted due to the fresh, perishable nature of the goods.

  • By FlavoFBR: We reserve the right to cancel any order due to unexpected product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent transactions. In such cases, a full refund will be instantly initiated.

7. Replacement Policy

For approved damaged/incorrect claims, customers may choose between:

  1. A free product replacement (subject to stock availability).

  2. A full refund for the item.

8. Limitation of Liability

FlavoFBR strives for perfection but shall not be held liable for:

  • Delivery delays caused by third-party courier partners.

  • Damage or spoilage occurring due to improper storage after a successful delivery.

  • Delivery failures resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.

  • Our maximum legal liability is strictly limited to the total order value paid by the customer.
